Position Overview:

We are actively seeking a Radiology Technologist who will be responsible for operating our CT & X-ray equipment and capture high-quality diagnostic images. The ideal candidate must ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance with hygiene and infection control protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Positioning: Position patients accurately for CT & X-rays to target specific body areas.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular warm-up procedures and maintain radiologic equipment to uphold safety standards.
  • Follow Instructions: Interpret and adhere to the physician’s written instructions accurately.
  • Quality Assessment: Assess films for technical quality and report any inconsistencies or deficiencies.
  • Effective Communication: Explain procedures to patients and provide reassurance to ensure a comfortable experience.
  • Patient Monitoring: Monitor patients for allergic reactions or complications and respond appropriately.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of radiologic supplies and keep the supervisor informed of shortages or needs.

Required Training and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2 years of experience as a CT & X-Ray Tech, especially in an emergency room (ER) hospital setting.
  • Education: Associate degree or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school, with one year of related experience and training.
  • Certifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Health Awareness: Understanding of potential exposure to body fluids and infectious diseases.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in operating X-ray equipment and related technology.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to interact effectively with patients and other medical staff.
  • Compassionate Care: Patient-centered approach to patient interactions.
  • Current Knowledge: Stay informed on advances in radiologic technology and protocols.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate images and ensure quality.
